Abused by his teachers and friends

Ronaldo started to play football in a local football club at Andorinha, where his father was serving as a kit man. Diagnosed with the heart ailment at the age of 16

When Ronaldo was gaining much success on his football career, that time, he was the only player under the age of 16, played in Sporting club for U16, U17, U18, and official team on the same season. In 2000, he was diagnosed with a heart disease that caused irregular heartbeats. 

His rate of heartbeat remained faster than normal, which could have ended his dream of becoming a professional football player. He was given a timely treatment (all thanks to medical advancement in Laser Surgery) and was able to resume his training after a few weeks.

After treatment, he backed to training as soon as possible, he was hardworking and made a good impression on others with stunning football skills and the serious on his career. Father passed away when Ronaldo was 20

Father had so much influence on Ronaldo’s football career. When he was 8, his father brought him to the football club in Andorinha. That was his first step to the professional football player. 

Unfortunately, while Ronaldo started establishing at his first big club Manchester United, his father’s health deteriorated and eventually, he passed away, that was the reason why his father’s death gave him so much pain. The main reason for his father’s death was he was addicted to drinking alcohol that led to his liver damage.

Ronaldo himself admitted that his father used to drink and act silly, yet he loved him and respected him so much. After this, Ronaldo decided not to drink alcohol in his life. He even sued a newspaper company for publishing false allegations about his alcohol habits.
