While we slept peacefully on 25th January 2020, none of us thought that on 26th morning we’ll be getting such awful news. On 26th Jan 2020 the world lost a phenomenal basketball legend, Kobe Bryant. 

Kobe Bryant along with other passengers was flying to Thousand Oaks for a basketball game where Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter – Gianna was expected to play and Bryant was to give coaching. Initial information indicated the helicopter was flying under visual flight rules from Jhon Wayne airport in Orange County. By the time the helicopter reached Burbank, the pilot requested to fly under visual flight rules. 

During the pilot’s conversation with air traffic control, they advised the pilot there was a delay due to traffic. The helicopter circled for 12 minutes until air traffic control approved the special visual flight rules. The crash created a crater at 1,085 feet above sea level. Then we all know what happened after that. The world lost 9 people along with Kobe and his daughter who was supposed to be at Oak playing their basketball match. 

So this was Kobe’s unexpected tragic end from life.

Kobe Bryant, full name, Kobe Bean Bryant, was an American professional basketball player, who helped lead the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Los Angeles Lakers to five championships (2000–02 & 2009–10).
