Muharram Wishes Quotes For Loved Ones

Muharram is the Islamic calendar’s first month. The basic sense of the word Muharram is “banned, forbidden, restricted, unconstitutional, illegitimate, unauthorized, unauthorized, banned, restricted, prohibited, prohibited.”

This is one of the four holiest months of the year during which fighting is forbidden. It is deemed to be the second holiest month after Rama al-An. Muharram ‘s Tenth day is regarded as Ashura’s Day. Occasionally Shia Muslims observe partial fasting as part of Muharram’s Mourning, and Sunni Muslims do fasting on Ashura.

What is Muharram?

The real story behind Muharram’s mourning is a very sad one. The fierce Battle of Karbala took place on the 10th day of Muharram, also called Ashura, in the 61st year of the Islamic calendar. The war was waged between a tiny party of followers and descendants of Imam Hussain, grandson of Prophet Muhammad, and Yazid I, the Umayyad caliph, a much larger force.

Shia Muslims lament ibn AlÄ« and his family’s martyrdom, remembering the martyrs with repentance and withdrawing from happier activities.  On the 10th of Muharram, Shia Muslims don’t fast, but some will not eat or drink until Zawal (afternoon) shows their sympathy with Husayn. In addition, there is an important book about Husayn ibn Ali, the Ziyarat Ashura.

Muharram is considered to be the period of remembrance and mourning of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain by the Shia Muslim community, which begins mourning from Muharram’s first night and will continue for the next 2 months and 8 days. For the first ten days of the festival, a greater amount of value is added.

The congregation is wearing black clothes on Muharram ‘s opening day and is praying. Black color signifies a mourning hue. Shia Muslims take out processions over the streets on the 10th day. They walk the roads barefoot. As an act of mourning for Hussain they sing and loudly supportive. The same celebration will be observed during Muharram on August 30, 2020.

This day holds great significance for Muslims and the day holds utmost importance for them. So let’s share out the most peaceful Muharram Wishes Quotes with our family, friends, and loved ones.
